the brand
After connecting over Instagram, Alex from FN Lemons booked me for a photoshoot to showcase their cocktail related products. Based in New Plymouth, this is a small business I couldn't wait to start working with! They specialise in jarred sweet treats such as sherbet dust, dried floral petals, and dehydrated citrus fruit to spruce up homemade beverages.
The Brief
I had full creative direction for this shoot and had an instant vision of how to appeal to their target audience, look super stylish and different from the usual e-commerce shots, & help brand their business online.
FN Lemons were needing images for the website listings and for their trade presenter. It was super important that these images are to be high quality and super clean in terms of styling and props.

The Process
After creating a Style Guide and sharing my vision with Alex for the first time, the concept was approved and I was ready to start prepping for our agreed shoot date! The aesthetic was to be very warm-toned with a minimalist approach.
The background will add some texture to the imagery as it will be a neutral, warm-toned concrete tile. Shadow work with foliage/flowers will also help to add another level of dimension to the images.
The Result
The images created are bright, tropical yet minimalist for FN Lemons - with some now uploaded onto their website and used in printed materials! For each product listing, 3 images were created,
