Blitzed bowls is a new business in Auckland, specialising in frozen smoothie subscription boxes. with 7 different flavours to choose from between smoothies or bowls, they deliver straight to your door!
The Brief
With the need to stand out online ready for the launch of her business, Maddie allowed me to take the lead when it came to imagery, props and aesthetics. I really wanted to create a Bali type feel to the images showing the smoothies and all of the toppings in the most tropical way possible!

The Process
After creating a Style Guide that established the vision I had for the shoot, it was time to take the first step in making it come to life - PROPS! I sent Maddie a list of recommended props to have ready for our shoot date which included a lot of local NZ businesses.
2 backdrops in particular I knew would play a crucial role in the shoot in order to create a Bali beach club type vibe; Terrazzo and Moroccan Marble. These types of surfaces regular appeared in a lot of my inspo imagery within the Style Guide so it was a no brainers to get some backdrops for ourselves to play around with.
The Result
The shoot couldn't have gone better if we tried! The sun was gleaming down on our multiple different scenes we created and with a hand model on site to help add a human element to some images, it was everything we could've asked for. Bright, inviting, delicious looking smoothies/smoothie bowls with a vibe that makes you think we took a work trip to Bali.
This was a full day shoot that Blitzd hired me for which provided them with nearly 100 images to take away and use on their website and socials!
